Bred Here, For Here
The Stellenbosch Story
Our only African R&D facility is in Stellenbosch. Here, we develop varieties specifically for local conditions - like Afriditta and Afrizeus butternut, bred through 8 years of multi-location trials across South Africa. At introduction, they weren't planted anywhere else in the world.
That's the difference between adapting global varieties and creating local ones.
